Lead UX Designer
Startup environment as a solo designer wearing multiple hats all at once as the Designer, Researcher Business Analyst, and Quality Assurance Tester all at once.
Systematic review is not common knowledge and a lot of effort is spent researching with SMEs.
Multi-pronged strategy required to consolidate and standardise the application and design assets while keeping development effort to a minimal while ensuring the application is designed to scale.

Challenge
Conduct discovery,develop characters/personas for a better understanding of customers & mapped characters/personas to user journey map with help from customers, SMEs and support team
Validate all assumptions and pain points with customers and SMEs
Understand, identify and standardise systematic review data model to better reflect a systematic review process
Identify & explore opportunities and validate appetite for Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Processing Language (NLP) with stakeholders and customers
Work with stakeholders to converge new CDM with business goals to map out future ecosystem of products
Collaborate with Marketing on re-branding exercise
Established a simple design thinking process and consult with product manager and developers for MVP prioritisation and success definition.
Effectively advise C-Suite and be involved with product strategic roadmap planning
Established BAU with hands-on design prototype and high fidelity UI, design review with the wider team, analytics analysis, user test sessions with customers and fortnightly showcase.
Improve existing application to meet WCAG 2.0 requirements
Update and consolidate styleguide in accordance with new branding and expand on it to a full-fledge design system
